Choucas

CHOUCAS · SET UP FOR YOUR COMPANY

Your property management, perfectly orchestrated.

What’s said on the phone reaches the field. What’s done gets checked. What’s ready, you know.

The manager view

Three things need your attention. The rest is moving.

An exception, a check to do, a decision to make: Choucas only raises what changes a property’s status.

The problem isn’t the service. It’s everything that gets lost between two people.

Scattered messages. Changeovers under pressure. Teams without context. Choucas gets everyone back on the same page.

A rocky summit and its ridge under fresh snow, against a cloudless blue sky.

Guest brief

A brief never arrives in order.

Three channels, three moments, one instruction. Choucas gathers, the manager decides, the field team delivers.

  1. What comes in

    Call18:40

    Chalet Balme

    the day before check-in

“The parents are sleeping on the ground floor.”

    Message21:12

    Chalet Balme

    the day before check-in

    “Sheets changed every day.”

    Email07:05

    Chalet Balme

    check-in day

“Nobody goes into the parents’ bedroom.”

  2. gathered in the Choucas app

    What needs a decision

    TO DECIDEChalet Balme07:12

    check-in day

“Sheets changed every day” and “nobody goes into the parents’ bedroom” can’t both hold: changing the sheets means going in. Choucas doesn’t blindly pass both on — it flags the conflict, and the manager decides.

  3. Decided by Sophie in the Choucas app.

    What goes out

    INSTRUCTIONChalet Balme08:04

    check-in day

Sheets changed every day in every bedroom. Except the ground-floor one, where the parents sleep: a clean folded set left outside the door every morning before 9am, nobody goes in.

Sent to Marie L., the team member handling the clean.

The brief reaches the field

The field team knows what to do. And why.

Every job keeps the context of the brief. The team doesn’t just get a task: they understand what’s expected before they even arrive.

  • An instruction drawn from the approved brief

Not a forwarded message: what the manager decided, written down once.

  • The guest context stays within the team’s reach

The property’s quirks, the requests for the stay, what to know before going in.

  • The property’s access details come with the job

Key safe, alarm, the trick to the door. On site, nobody searches and nobody calls round.

  • Anything unexpected is reported from the job

The property, the severity, the situation, a photo. It becomes an action, not a lost message.

  • Photos and issue reports feed into the check

What the team documents serves the check, then the owner report.

  • Nobody signs off their own job

The team does the work, documents it and reports issues. Someone else opens the check — that rule is what moves the property to READY.

Field app home: hello Marie, Saturday 3 October, 2 jobs, 2 chalets; a critical issue at Chalet La Tournette; the job in progress at Chalet Balme, 11 of 24 tasks, and what to know before going in; then the 17:05 check-in at Chalet La Tournette. — Open the Choucas demo in a new tab

The Choucas journey

From brief to READY. From READY to proof.

  • A request that comes in by message, call, email or note is broken down into actions. The field team gets what to do, when to do it, and the context they need to understand why.

OutcomeWhat was asked for becomes what needs doing.

“Validate the brief” screen for Chalet Balme: 21 of 23 lines ready, and one conflict to decide between “Sheets changed every day” and “Nobody goes into the parents’ bedroom”.
  • A finished job goes to someone else for sign-off. The person who checks is never the person who did the job.

OutcomeA second pair of eyes before the property is declared ready.

“Departure clean” job at Chalet L’Aiguille, closed by Sofia R. at 11:30 and marked TO CHECK: 26 of 26 tasks, 3 photos attached, and the “Mark as checked” button waiting for a second pair of eyes.
  • Once the jobs it needs are done and checked, the property can move to READY. The manager knows which homes can actually welcome their guests.

OutcomeREADY is a signed-off status, not a progress percentage.

Today’s arrivals, ready ones first: a single ready property, Chalet Beauregard, checked; then five properties not ready yet, including Chalet Merle Blanc, to check.
  • Photos, actions, checks and points to watch can feed an owner report, prepared in Choucas and reviewed before it goes out.

OutcomeClear proof of the work carried out on the property.

October 2026 report for Chalet Beauregard, for the Ducret family, to review before sending: 1 visit checked by a second pair of eyes, 22 points checked, 5 photos, the detail of 3 October and the supplies replaced.

Owner report

The invisible work becomes visible.

Every day, a property management company carries out checks, call-outs and inspections the owner never sees. Choucas turns that operational proof into a report ready for review.

The demo

Try Choucas, without installing anything.

The data is fictional. Get around it the way your team would.

Setting up Choucas

Your operations. Set up with you, on the ground.

One day on site, from morning to evening. Show us how you work today. We’ll fit Choucas to your terrain for tomorrow.

  1. Morning

    Observe

We watch a real day: your changeovers, who does what, where it gets stuck.

Why — a tool set up on what someone imagines your job to be is no use to anyone.

Goal — understand your organisation as it is, not as it should be.

  2. Midday

    Structure

We set up your properties, your roles, your job types.

Why — these are the things your team will handle every day, and naming them badly costs you for months.

Goal — everyone finds in Choucas the words they already use.

  3. Afternoon

    Configure

We write your checklists, your checkpoints, your thresholds.

Why — the independent check is only worth something if the points checked are yours.

Goal — the tool rejects what you reject, and lets through what you accept.

  4. Evening

    Hand over

We train your team on site, on its own properties.

Why — training on fictional data doesn’t last until the following Saturday.

Goal — by the time we leave, your team is already working in it.

Every valley is different, and you’ll get your own Choucas, set up for you. The day lays the foundation; the rest fills in as you go.

A setup, then a subscription.

Setup

€2,000one day on site

A day at your place, not a video call. We leave when your team is working in Choucas — not when the demo is over.

€500 on booking, deducted from the setup. It covers preparation and travel, and is non-refundable if you go no further.

One day on site. We set up your properties, your roles, your workflows, your checklists. By the end of the day, your team is working in Choucas.

It isn’t a training session: it’s your tool being configured in front of you, from how you actually work.

Subscription

€15per property per month, €300 minimum

VAT not applicable, Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (CGI).

Who you’ll work with

Someone who knows the mountains, behind a tool that holds up at 2pm.

Mathieu Dupont-Vieux. I grew up in La Clusaz and I live in the valley where my clients are. Scattered chalets, access under snow, no signal in the cellar: you won’t have to explain any of it to me.

At 2pm on a Saturday, Choucas holds up: a job carries on without signal and syncs when the connection comes back, and the board only counts checked properties as ready. If something still gets stuck, you call me and I fix it — on Saturdays in season, 9am to 6pm: no ticket, my number.

Mathieu Dupont-Vieux in a conifer wood, looking up.

What people ask us before they start

  • Choucas is built for the operational layer between requests, the field, the check and the report. It doesn’t replace a PMS or a channel manager.

  • Nobody checks a job they did themselves.

  • READY describes a property after it’s been checked. A finished job doesn’t automatically make a property ready for the next arrival.

  • We spend a day with you to observe your operation, structure your workflows, configure Choucas and test the setup with your team. The day puts in place what you need to start: active properties, roles, workflows. Files then fill in as you go — an appliance’s model number goes in the day someone works on it, not the night before launch.

  • No. Choucas can prepare the information and automate internal workflows, but anything going outside is reviewed and sent by a person.

Show us one of your changeovers

The terrain changes. The standard doesn’t.

In 30 minutes, let’s start from one of your briefs, the way you check properties, and your check-ins. We’ll show you where Choucas fits into that chain.
